Isn't opinion journalism just about journalists write to keep readers aware of social, political, and economic events from a biased angle, but contain some element of facts?

Most readers shy away from tedious, protracted, and "objective" news articles, in my opinion. Gonzo journalism is a type of journalism.

"Downward spiral of journalism" is a bit harsh and snobbish", considering the presence of opinion journalism doesn't automatically equate to the effacement/extermination of "objective journalism".
